Appointments aren’t always required, but we are often very busy. Appointments allow us to get your vehicle back to you as fast as possible. If you do not have an appointment you can always give us a call to see when we can squeeze you in. (209)527-8660

Our technicians are ASE Certified. ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. In addition to passing an ASE Certification test, automotive technicians must have two years of on-the-job training, or one year of on-the-job training and a two-year degree in automotive repair to qualify for certification. The tests are challenging. Only two out of every three test-takers pass on their first attempt. To remain ASE certified, professionals must retest every five years to keep up with ever-advancing automotive technology.

We specialize in American (Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, General Motors, Jeep, etc) and Asian (Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, etc). We will occasionally take in some European vehicles, but they are not our focus. We also work on classic cars and diesels in a limited fashion.

When your check engine light on the dash illuminates, it is telling you that something is not right with your vehicle. This could be something minor such as a gas cap not sealing properly or something major indicating engine damage. Our technicians begin by connecting an advanced OBDII Scanner to your vehicle to read the check engine light code and view live data. The code will say what kind of a fault the vehicle computer is seeing, and it is up to the technician’s skill and experience to diagnose exactly what is causing the fault.

Yes, A/C Repair is one of our specialties. We are able to service both R134a and 1234YF refrigerant systems. With either system, we begin with an A/C System Check. We will check your system for the leaks by hooking up our state-of-the-art machine and putting your system under vacuum. If leaks are found, we will identify where and let you know what needs to be repaired. If there are no leaks, we will add the correct amount of refrigerant to your system and then check it for proper operation. If everything is operating properly and no further problems are found, then your vehicle will returned to you with a nice cold A/C system!

Many auto parts stores advertise “Free Check Engine Light Diagnosis” but, that is a misleading statement. They are not actually diagnosing the problem. They are just reading a diagnostic code, and recommending the parts that are most likely to fix your problem. We often get people in our shop because they have already spent hundreds of dollars on parts, without resolving their problem. Modern vehicles are very complex, so we prefer to see you spend your money a proper diagnosis, that shows you what your vehicle actually needs. We are not able to offer a proper diagnosis for free, because it can be a lengthy process.

Absolutely. You are allowed to have your vehicle serviced at your preferred automotive repair shop without jeopardizing your warranty.
